Meet Katrice
Katrice Quitter continues her family legacy of being an educator and changemaker. She began her career as an early childhood educator focused on access and equity of quality early learning experiences for young children, birth to 5 years. In Katrice’s career as an educator, it has always been a focus to provide an optimal learning experience for all students regardless of background or identity. Katrice has taught elementary, worked as an Instructional Coach, Gifted Intervention Specialist, Gifted Coordinator and most recently as an Educational Consultant who designed and facilitated impactful professional learning for educators and administrators. Katrice stays laser-focused on what we do have the ability to change, by supporting educators and schools to utilize their power and influence to disrupt and dismantle what’s not working.
Katrice believes we all have the ability to act! We can work collectively to change our systems to be humanizing spaces of belonging for all–spaces where everyone feels their complex identities are seen, valued, and honored. Katrice earned her B.S. from The Ohio State University and M.Ed in Gifted Education from Ashland University. In Katrice’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
