Diversity Day: Colin Seale Delivers Keynote Address at the College of Southern Nevada

On Friday, March 31st Colin Seale will deliver the keynote address for Diversity Day at the College of Southern Nevada. Diversity Day at College of Southern Nevada provides training sessions for faculty, staff and students to increase their cultural awareness, appreciation and aptitude for a variety of topics pertaining to diversity.

Colin’s address, “Safe Spaces, Micro-agressions, and Trigger Warnings vs. Free Speech: The Balancing Act for Higher Education,” a topic that couldn’t be more timely.

“A lot of the conversation around free speech vs. safe spaces on campus across the country has been extremely polarizing. I’m excited for the opportunity to discuss how this is somewhat of a false choice, and give participants concrete strategies to take back to their campuses for the benefit of all of Nevada’s higher education students.”- Colin Seale
