To support our mission fostering the development of critical thinking skills in ALL students, we surveyed over 800 middle and high school students to learn about their critical thinking skills and habits.
We believe that by understanding the problem of critical thinking more fully, as stated by students, we might come to understand that when we look at issues in education like the achievement gap, school to prison pipeline and chronic absenteeism critical thinking, if addressed, can actually get to the root cause of a lot of our biggest challenges.
On Monday, April 16th our Founder|CEO, Colin Seale, will present in Plano, Texas at TAGT’s Leadership Conference. His session entitled The State of Critical Thinking: What Students are Saying and What it Means for G/T Educators will show his session attendees how to break the mold by sharing insights and practical implications of surveys and interviews with more than 1,000 students on critical thinking and G/T students.
You’re invited to join his presentation on Monday, April 16th at 10 am in the Osaka room. You can also connect with him at our thinkLaw booth in the exhibit hall to win A thinkLaw Student Mindset Assessment Kit.
