De-Colonizing Brilliance: Working Together to Increase Representation in Gifted Ed
In this session, participants will examine curricular and pedagogical strategies for serving gifted students whose genius is being left on the table because of their familial income or English language learner status. They will also leave with an understanding of why increasing equity in gifted education is everyone’s job, and why state policymakers and district leaders must act to help close the identification gap.

FREE Critical Thinking Game

“Informed Opinion” is a game that encourages kids to consider what information they need to know about a situation before they form an opinion about it. Players read real news headlines and take turns naming questions that would lead to a more informed understanding of the news story.
