It’s so frustrating that knowing better doesn’t always translate into doing better. Understanding the complex connection between critical thinking skills and dispositions and how to deliver instruction that helps students apply both to their academics, lives, and future careers is essential to help today’s students adopt the flexible problem-solving they will need to compete in the rapidly changing workforce of tomorrow.
On Friday, September 21st at 2:00-2:50pm CSAN President and critical thinking expert, Colin Seale, will present “Why do Smart Kids do the Dumbest Things?”. This interactive and discussion-based presentation will leave attendees with specific ways to apply the strategies from his workshop to their grade levels and subject areas.
